can we make a system restore

I lost some information on my computer by mistake! can i make system restore ?

Hi Nabulsi,

sorry to hear about your problem. Losing information can be very annoying, I know.

You say you lost information. Could you explain how?

- was the information on a hard drive, or a memory stick?
- did you by mistake delete files which you should not have deleted?
- did your system crash after which information had disappeared?

In general:
- to be able to run a restore implies you have made a backup which contains the information you inadvertently lost. Did you?

simply i put them in trash the files come from the hard drive and went to trash..so i thought of a restore thing like the day of window system.

i did this but nothing in the trash is empty !

From this I understand that you deleted files and afterwards emptied the trash (or the deleted files were too large to be put into trash. In that case you will have had a warning about this when you deleted them).

In such a case the only solution I can come up with is datarecovery as mentioned here:
