how do I install a dvd drive

I am unable to read DVDs, I can see both drives but they only read CDs.

Do you mean video DVDs or data DVDs?

If you mean video DVDs:
You may need to install the DVD CSS decoder. Installing this is subject to your local laws, which may prohibit decryption algorithms from being published.

if you mean data DVDs, then please post the model of your DVD drive, and if you know, your motherboard model.
