There are many players in Ubuntu, The default is totem. It's also a VIDEO, not a vedio.

You may need the restricted codecs bundle to play your files as Ubuntu only ships with the open source codecs due to the variation in international codecs. If it is legal for you to have these then run:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y install ubuntu-restricted-extras
