volume up and down keys adjust the wrong audiodevice

when i'm try to adjust the volume with the volume up and the volume down key on my keyboard the cd-volume will adjusted, but i want to adjust the pcm-volume with that keys.

Go to System --> Preferences --> Sound, there should be an option at the bottom of the window for "Default mixer tracks" and then beneath that you can select which device gets modified by the volume keys.
