gnome-keyring-daemon exessive memory usage

Asked by Martin on 2012-07-21

Since an update earlier this week the gnome-keyring-mamanger has been using exessive amounts of memory. I notice the system performance drop off significantly and when I check the System Monitor the daemon is using 1.3 GiB. If I kill the process everything returns to normal.

I am running:

Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit
Kernal 3.2.0-26-generic
Gnome 3.4.1

Intel Core 2 T5500 @ 1.66 ghz w 2.5 GiB RAM

Please have a look at linked bug reports and in case confirm. Apparently the issue exists since 11.10 but not yet reported upstream.
