gnome-keyring 3.2.2-0ubuntu1 for Oneiric

Asked by Maarten Jacobs on 2011-11-23

Hi,

Been digging around for a day or two trying to figure out why Chromium keeps dying on me. Via various pages (starting at http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=101160) I ended up with Ubuntu Bug #874501 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/874501).

I see a fix for this bug was "released" (is that the right word) in version 3.2.2 of gnome-keyring, but that version is not (yet) available for Oneiric.

I have the following questions:
* How do I find out when/if this fix will be available on Oneiric? (Is there a way to track this?)
* What's the process for making a fix like this available on the various current releases?
* Can I install the 3.2.2 package on Oneiric to "take it for a test drive"? Would anybody be interested in the results?

Thanks,

You can watch the bug to track it.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; apt-cache policy chromium-browser

Thanks
