Multiple moves in Iagno

Asked by sthrnpagan

Why is no matter how much I strategize, the computer always wins? What is really agrivating me is that when I get a substatial lead, the computer will take multiple moves (couted 4 multiples). Why is that Happening? Its pissing me off. It is like the computer has safeguards against it losing. I know it cant cheat. Please tell me whats happening?

The computer will take multiple moves if you can't move. There's a message at the bottom left "Dark must pass, Light's move". It's a common situation towards the end of the game, and it's good play to force your opponent into it. You're just being beaten.

I'd suggest playing at level one till you get the hang of it. In this game you win not by getting ahead but by forcing your opponent to give you the corners and sides. One approach is to minimise how many squares you have, and to try and keep them localized, limiting the opponent's choice of moves.
