have you tried going to view -> card style in the freecell menu? if the style you like isn't there i'm affraid you'll just have to use the new style.

I am not familiar with the deck available in Intrepid but I can guide you to where this can be accessed in Hardy.

usr/share/gnome-games-common/cards

The files are svg (scaled vector graphics) and you can easily replace or add them with an svg file from Hardy as long as you do this as root.

AisleRiot solitaire uses the same decks. By default, only gnomangelo_bitmap is installed. Which I also find ugly enough to qualify as a bug. Install gnome-games-extra-data for additional card styles.

Thanks !
Installing gnome-games-extra-data solved my problem.

Thank you Geraldo. This Ubuntu Open-Source culture thing does work better - not just cheaper.

I love the freecell in previous versions and want to know how to activate the game in version 9.10?
