blue bar at bottom of sudoku game blocks out bottom of grid

There is a blue bar at the bottom of the sudoku game grid in ubuntu 12.04 that blocks out the bottom making
it difficult to play this game.

Unmaximizing seems to cure the problem. Thank you. I have not recorded a bug.
