chess confirm nonsense

I have ubuntu, glchess 3.4.1
If I want to start "new game", it is asking me "save this game before starting a new one?"
but my game is finished, checkmate. finished!!! I dont want to save.
after all menu already has "save and save as".
This is very nonsense.
IF I want to start new game, it will be start new game. It NEVER have to ask any questions!
