How do I upgrade Gnome Do?

Asked by gwotet

I have Gnome Do right now. I want to get 0.8, but somehow I just keep installing 0.6 again. I have not done anything technical, the Gnome Do site told me to go through terminal and type:

sudo aptitude gnome-do

I did that and I just got the same thing. I tried through add/remove and got the same results.

Can anyone help?

you need to add Gnome Do's repository to get the latest version from this page:

https://edge.launchpad.net/~do-core/+archive/ppa

you need to:

1) add the repository line to your software sources
2) install the ppa authentication key

and then your all set.

Thanks.

Um...So I thought that I did everything right. I added the repository line, then the key, but I got this message:

W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net intrepid Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 4874D3686E80C6B7

What should I do from here?

Thanks for your help.
