You can't, you only can mark them as bad and the system will not use them but they WILL spread (literally like cancer). I suggest you grab a new HDD ASAP. Be sure your backups are up to date.

depending on who disk manufacturer is, you might be able to get a program from their site that will mark the bad sectors as unusable. however, the program will be for dos/windows. if you don't have dos or windows, it won't matter. some of the manufacturers will provide a copy of pc-dos which allows you to install and run the program from a floppy.
