Le chiavette USB non sono rilevate dal sistema. Si vedono dal gestore dischi che permette le varie operazioni. Anche formattando poi non sono rilevate. Provato con tre chiavette diverse.

USB drives are not recognized by the system. You can see by your records that allows the various operations. Even then formatting are not recognized. Tested with three different keys.

Ubuntu has a problem with the proprietary partitioning on some disks intended for syncing data with Windows machines eg Verbatim "Store-N-Go". The best thing to do is to remove the partition completely but this can not easily be done with the Gnome disk utility.

In this case use Gparted to delete the partition on the USB pen drive. The USB device can then be partitioned again using either disk utility or Gparted.

Gparted can be installed from the repositories, or else it is already on the LiveCD.
