How to re-partition a hard disk

How do you change the partition size of a hard drive that has Windows 7 on one partition and Ubuntu on the other?

Win7 has the ability to resize it's own partition. You can then boot to Ubuntu liveCD and resize the Ubuntu partition into the free space. Obviously ensure your backups are sufficiently recent in case of catastrophe
