how to install gnome 3 in ubuntu 10.04?

i had run following commands given in the website to install the gnome 3 in my ubuntu 10.04 but it showing error for every command while installing in terminal finally its not installed.how to install it perfectly(or)correctly.

It's not compatible otherwise it would have been added to the official repos. If you want Gnome3 I suggest you clean install Oneiric (or even Precise which is LTS).

There is a 3rd party PPA but it will more than likely cause a TONNE of issues:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-desktop/gnome3-builds
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome-desktop3

yes what statement u have given is correct its not compatible for 10.04 version of ubuntu.
