Change the shortcut Ctrl+Aĺt+Delete

Asked by Morten Hansen on 2012-06-20

Hello! - sorry for my english but danish is not work here I think :-)

I want to change the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Delete to popup the window where I can "Shut down" the computer?
As standard this shortcut will popup the window where I can "Log off"...

Is it possible to change this and if it is how did I do it "step by step"?

- Morten

System-settings -> keyboard -> shortcuts -> System

Yes Sam - I know that this the place to enter shortcuts...
But if it was so easy I could do it without asking here :-)

The shortcut I want does not exist so I have to make it by myself in someway...??

Create a custom shortcut <a+b+c>
cmd: gksudo shutdown -h now
or
cmd: gnome-session-quit --power-off

Other alternatives.
Create .desktop file and assign a shortcut.

Create a script and assign a shortcut.

Install ccsm, go to general -> commands
Add a command, tab to keybinding and assign a shortcut.

Thank you so much Sam....

The solotion: gnome-session-quit --power-off
as a custom shortcut - that works for me...

Thanks Sam - but it is a small team so it is absolutely not sure that I can get all the answers in this small team... :-)
