tapping touchpad how to disable?

I am using ubuntu linux 10.10 and want to disable tapping in touchpad. Please let me know step by step instruction as I am newbie here. please help me.

- Open the System Settings and select "Mouse and Touchpad" (if you are using Ubuntu 10.10, you can get there via System -> Preferences -> Mouse);
- Select the "Touchpad" tab;
- Uncheck the "Enable mouse clicks with touchpad" box.

This should solve your problem.

Hello Dmitry,

I am using Ubuntu Linux 10.10. I can see mouse setting in System -> Preferences -> Mouse

But there is no any touchpad tab show there. Please let me know for further.
