Asked by didzo on 2012-04-22

Ubuntu 11.10 64bit

lsb_release -sc; uname -a show's:
Linux edoras 3.0.0-17-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 8 20:45:39 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When I start :

I can't unlock a user. This button (top-right) is disabled.

gksudo gnome-control-center user-accouts

And it will run as root, so should be ok

This doesn't help because an Warning occures ...

GtK-WARNING**: in modulpath "pixmap" theme-Engine not found ...

Sorry, I translate this message from german, so it could be not exactly correct ;-)

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf

Will suppress the warnings

Ok, the warning is gone. Thanks.
but gnome-control-center user-accounts doesn't come up.

If I try gnome-control-center it works as fine. Klick on user-accounts control-center died ...
/var/crash/ is empty
dmesg show's :
gnome-control-c[5338]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f33701e4527 sp 00007fff4169fa90 error 4 in[7f33701d3000+29000]

I suggest you report a bug
