Gnome Calendar: Events in different timezone have wrong timing

Asked by Simon Schick on 2020-06-24

I have a calendar which is synchronized to Office 365 (don't know if this is important).

Events added by a collegue, who lives in a different timezone (he's in Cypros, I'm in Germany) show up at the wrong time.

If he adds an event from 3pm-4pm CY-time, it shows in my calendar (gnome-calendar) as 3pm-4pm CET-time. I think this is a problem with the gnome-calendar application because the reminder for this event comes at 1.45pm - 15min before we have the meeting the event is about.

Is there any information I can look into to confirm if this really is a bug and gather sufficient info for a developer so he can take the correct action?

I cannot help at all with your question, but I want to warn you that you have most probably selected the wrong project.
"Exchange Data Provider for Lightning" has nothing to do with gnome-calendar and has already been marked "PROJECT ABANDONED".

The right target probably is "Ubuntu - gnome-calendar". You can change that on
