Cannot getOprera browser to work.

Hi all. Attempting to download Opera (for Linux) browser but cannot get it to work. I get all the way through the download and extract but when I try to run it nothing happens. 3 times now. Thanks.

I've just successfully installed Opera using the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/OperaBrowser

Do you get any output when you type "opera" into a terminal?
