Ubuntu does not detect free space in Zen Vision M 30GB player

Asked by tsangdavid1

Hi

Ive got a creative zen 30Gb media player that is totally formatted and empty. When i use windows xp to see how much space there is-it says 27.6GB which is right i think. On the other hand when i connect it to ubuntu it says that i have only 2.9GB free and that the file system type is gphoto2. What is going on?

try

sudo apt-get install gnomad2

Use that instead. Is it better?

Thanks actionparsnip but when i installed and use this i get a message saying 'no Jukeboxes found on USB bus'. I just want to transfer music to my player.
