Gnoki

Asked by Rob Frerejean

Hi,

I want to connect my phone Nokia N82 to my system. I donloaded Gnoki, but when I start it it pops up and is gone the same second.

If I start it in a terminal I see this.

rob@rob-laptop:~$ xgnokii
Couldn't read /home/rob/.gnokiirc config file.

If I look for this /home/rob/.gnokiirc folder, it´s not there.

Anyone?

/home/rob/.gnokiirc is a file. I suggest you find some online and put them in there. I no doubt imagine there is a default one hidden on your system someplace (conky also does this, very annoying)

I suggest you read this:

In your file-browser it might help to click on the "View" menu and then tick "Show hidden files" :)

I know how to see my hidden files. It´s simply not there.

Guess I can forget this too.

You just need to populate the file, if you websearch round you will find example files. Its not hard, just takes a little effort

Can you help with this problem?
