Flash-based videos don't play in firefox or chromium. Youtube has limited fucntioality but hulu.com won't run at all.

Asked by Michael Barnes

I have installed gnash flash player when asked to by the browser. Youtube video will play fine, but I can't use full screen mode. When I try Hulu.com for streaming video I get nothing. I know this same setup works fine in Windows.

please open the ubuntu software center and search for flash, then install adobe flash. I would then recommend going into firefox Tools -- addons -- plugins and disabling anything related to gnash. Restart firefox and test your videos.
