Glunarclock won't load.

Asked by guidemeintheeyesofblindness@yahoo.com

I just upgraded to karmic 9.10 and it works pretty well.

However the lunar phase program I run "Glunarclock" fails to load at the startup of the system. After I log in it says

Error

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_GLunarclockApplet".
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?

How do I fix this?

Maybe this bug
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glunarclock/+bug/461148

As #1 stated here: Please report all OAFIID bugs to the gnome-panel developers
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-panel/+bug/376883

Package and homepage:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/glunarclock

In some cases it helped to unset the applet in gconf-editor, path:
/apps/panel/applets
you need to search for this specific one, because some have names, others numbers, but the third line 'bonobo_iid' will tell you the name.
When you've found the number or name, close gconf-editor, open a terminal,
e.g. lets say it's applet #3, the cmd to unset would be:
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/panel/applets/applet_3
