Bugs not being worked on?

I notice there are 15/17 bugs in the gkrellm project that are 'new'. So I'm not the only one to say: I filed a bug a few months ago to which there is no comment.

Is the project dead? That would be a shame: I really like gkrellm.

Thought it would be more appropriate to make this a question rather than *bump*ing the bug (1000312)
