Groups Move Layers between files

I use Gimp 2.8.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, official Gimp Help says that layers groups can move between files dragging the group layer or with keyboard Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V

But it does not work, In gimpchat tell me  windows version that works properly

Anyone know if it is a bug?

It works for me in 2.6.12 on 12.04 32bit...
And It also works for me with 2.8.6

Make sure your performing the operation correctly, drag the icon from the layers dialog onto the destination image, or select the desired layer in the layers dialog and press ctrl-c, then pull up the destination image and press ctrl-v.

If it is a bug, you need to update to the latest version before reporting.
