pids beginning with m

Asked by allen williams

Using get_iplayer from command line works with pids beginning with b and p, but not those beginning with m. [ e.g “get_iplayer --type=radio --output "Desktop/Proms 2013" --modes=best --pid m00020kf”, get error message “ERROR: Could not extract a valid PID from m00020kf” . Fail to understand what is going on.

get-player was removed from ubuntu repositories, so you don't have the latest version. See https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer/wiki/unixpkg

Can you help with this problem?
