sort text in gedit

       According to 'Gedit' manual I should be able to sort text using a plug- in (dont know what that is). There is no option to do so from the edit menu. How do I sort a list alphabetically, using 'Gedit'? Thank you...Rich

Edit ----> Preference ---> Plugin ---> Enable the plugin required
