I'm trying to install printer driver: z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh ( ~/desktop)-gedit. How do I open this file so I can print

I am trying to install printer driver: z600cups-1.0-1gz.sh (~/desktop)-gedit. I tried to install in Gunome terminal. I get this message: Could not open the file /home/cecil/Desktop/z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh gedit has not been able to detect the character coding.
Please check that you are not trying to open a binary file.
Select a character coding from the menu and try again. I tried it several times and the same message. Is there any help for me?
