google earth with linux

Since a few weeks I have linux (ubuntu) on my laptop. I would like to use google earth again. I downloaded GoggleEarthLinux.bin, but then I get a failure message: I should use another signcode (tekencodering). What should I do to install GoogleEarth succefully?
