i tried to create edubuntu dvd from the appropriate iso whiuch i downloaded from the site. i saw that the application was trying to create the dvd wasn't going on for a long hour. i restarted the pc by pressing the reset button and when i logged in again a window came up which it was telling that a some kind of a error help created a report and i had to save that and send it to the error reporting system. the report says the following:"Memory status: size: 39194624 vsize: 0 resident: 39194624 share: 0 rss: 15020032 rss_rlim: 0

Hi. Did this happen just one or it keep happening every time you restart your machine? Try to burn the iso again and if the error come back again please fill a bug in malone.
You can do it right here: link the bug with this request (you have a "Create bug Report") in the upper right box of this page and then submit the crash report you pasted here (they are usually big files so try to tar.gz it).
I searched malone to see if somebody had the same problem but I couldn't find an exact match so I suggest to replicate it and create the bug in case it happens again.

this happens every time i open my machine. as i said i can't even close the machine normally as the exit button doesn't appear on the top bar. finally i reformatted the partition and i installed the edubuntu from the start. i' ll try to keep an image of the partition in the future. thanks for your reply
