Your question is a bit short, but I guess you are trying to print label with gedit.
gedit itself is a simple text editor with the focus on manipulating pure text without format.
It's a good tool for programmers but not so useful for office work.

If you want to do formatting you should use an other program. There is the LibreOffice Writer which is a full featured text processing system. It should be installed by default.
Also there is gLabels a program made specially for the task of printing labels. It can be installed via the Software Center.
