bottom pane terminal font colour

Asked by Robert Kirchner

How do I change the font or background colours of an embedded terminal in the gedit bottom panel? It's currently showing up as white on very light grey, which is impossible to read. I know how to set the font colour in the gedit editor itself; my question is about the font colour in the bottom panel, which doesn't seem to be affected by the main font colour settings.

Please install dconf-tools, then alt+f2, run dconf-editor.
Go to
org.gnome.gedit.plugins.terminal

Adjust the colours as preferred.

My example.
Although the foreground colour here stated it's black #000000 it was in fact white #FFFFFF, I've made it dark grey #666666 to make the text visible.
