How to Compile like Windows on Ubuntu.

Asked by Andrew

Ok, on Windows, you can Open up a Compiler like Dev-c++ and create code, and then when you Compile it, it would run in the Command Prompt, now i know Ubuntu doesn't have a command Prompt, but how do you run the program to where i can see what i'm doing like on Windows using Ubuntu?
thanks.

No command prompt? Andrew, meet the Terminal. Press Ctrl + Alt + T, or go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal. From there you can run all the gcc-type stuff you want.
