Asked by dnpate

I can use gedit to change files using the terminal window, but how can I do this using the graphical interface so that I do not need to open the terminal?

Dnpate,

With System / Preferences / Main Menu - you could create a new launcher with the command "gksu gedit" if you wished.

Hope that's what you meant. Best of luck,
George
