Skip user list if there's only one user

Asked by Mensler

As I'm the only user on my laptop it would be great if I could enter my password (or use the fingerprint scanner) directly without clicking on my username on the login screen.
Is there a setting available for that?

Skip user list and autologin
system administration -> login screen

No hint about fingerprint, sorry.

Hi,
I know about the autologin feature, but I still want to enter my password for login.
I just don't want to select the user beforehand.

The mentioned cmd didn't help?
sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 –set –type bool /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/disable_user_list true

No, then I have to enter my username, too - even worse...
