my log of button needs a shutdown and log of button how can i have those buttones back??

i use the terminal to reboot or shutdown because i have a button that has lock screen and switcher user button but is missing the shutdown and log of buttons how can i have those buttons back???

freddy,

try to reinstall ubuntu-desktop and see

Course to a terminal (Press cntrl + alt +f1 or f2 in the login screen) Or boot up in recovery mode (Usually 2nd option in grub menu)

and give the following command:

sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-desktop

and

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

and reboot your system..

sudo reboot

The solution is probably much simpler than that. In Administration/Login Window, go to the Local-tab and put a checkmark in front of "Show Actions Menu". This also affects the buttons in the logoff-window.
