I have been using Ubuntu Desktop Edition for a while then I switched to Netbook Edition, i have also changed the startup to login automatically without a password.
When i log in i cant see the ribbon on the left nor the top toolbar, as i have changed to automatic Login i cant change the Edition, nor the user, i cant log in using safe mode too, i pressed F8 at start-up but no outcome.

You mean unity and global menu?
So the desktop is empty after login?
Try to start a terminal: ctrl+alt+T
Type:
gdmsetup

This should open the GUI to edit login settings.

Does Alt+F2 work?

If it doesn't try to switch to tty (text only) via Ctrl+Alt+F1.
You could install ubuntu-desktop and reboot.

Not sure though if it disables the autologin.
Maybe you need to purge unity and gdm and reinstall gdm only.
Or keep gdm, just stop it and reconfigure.
sudo stop gdm
sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm

This isn't very elegant, but I don't know any cmd which disables autologin via CLI and since there is no gdm.custom anymore I also don't know which file needs to be edited to disable autologin, so lets hope above gives you back a working desktop.
