size of the download file

what size should the downloaded file be?

I have downloaded it twice and once it was 11mb and another time it was 16mb.

Is this correct?

just the Ubuntu download from the download page.

I have another one going now and its at 110mb and still going.....

The Ubuntu ISO image is about 700meg

If you have an unstable connection to the internet, I would recommend using a download manager or a bittorrent.

I have had good luck with http://www.downthemall.net/ for Firefox.

It has nearly finnished now... only 90 mb to go....!

Don't know why the other downloads just completed after only a few mb...?
