Setting two different keyboard shortcuts for the same Gnome function

Asked by Janne Hyötylä

I have a laptop and I'm using an external keyboard with it some times. This keyboard has special buttons for playing music, but the internal laptop keyboard doesn't.

So I'd like to set e.g. for the "Play/Pause Music" Gnome shortcut two different values: XF86AudioPlay and Super+X. Can I do that?

Thank you for the pointer, but I'd like to keep using compiz/metacity as my window manager.

You can't usse both metacity AND compiz, you can only use one on each X server (Dual monitor systems can have 2 seperate X servers)

Can you help with this problem?
