toolbar missing

I am missing the lower tool bar on the gnome desktop in Feisty Fawn

You can add the toolbar back in by right clicking another toolbar (they are actually called panels) and choosing "New panel" from the menu. Once the new panel appears, you can move it to the bottom of the screen - or wherever you like really.

Will the screen scroll down when you move the mouse pointer to the lower side of it?
If so you should now see the bar; this may happen if the size of your virtual desktop is bigger than the size of the screen.
