how to restore default settings

hey so i did some tweeking and somewhere along the line messed up the gconf settings to where my desktop is no longer usable(referring to Nautilus) I can't right click and there are no icons. So how do I restore default settings in gconf?

If you didn't change too much after you messed up, you might be able to track down the error with Edit > List Recent Keys.

or try by typing in a terminal:
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/nautilus
