My trash icon, when shown on the desktop (apps/nautilus/desktop/trash_icon_visible) doesn't change to reflect whether it's full or empty.

When I drag a file to the trash Icon, the icon doesn't change to the trash/full state.

Hello

Do this and try in a terminal execute

sudo dpkg-reconfigure gnome-applets
