Mutlilib creates circular links in include/sys

After installing multilib all the files in /usr/include/sys/x86_64-linux-gnu/sys are links to ../x86_64-linux-gnu/sys/filename, e.g.
/usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/sys/cdefs.h -> ../x86_64-linux-gnu/sys/cdefs.h

There isn't any other cdefs.h file in the system.

How do I fix this problem?
