i dont have stdarg.h header file on my ubuntu

when i type the followingcommand in the terminal
vi /usr/include/stdarg.h
it shows a blank page
while for other header files it works i.e. it shows its contents
help me out

Me neither!

However, I think you should install some libs, especially their dev packages, to have this file.

For which lib, you need to google for yourself.

This file locates at /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.3.2/include, if you have a gcc version 4.3.2 and the arch of your machine is i686.

Other example could be /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.3.3/include.

try kate(Kwrite) , this is all is u need. Perl, php, html, C and more. I have use this editor for everything, this is very nice editor ;)
