Make a translation "specific"...

Hi all,

in order of viewing already translated items i am getting a field wihich is called "make translation specific to .... this and this package"

I for myself think that it is meant as that the translation i made is ONLY used specially for this package and not for another one... or how is it specified? What does it mean? If i'm wrong please correct me :)

Addition: this can only be seen if you are clicking on the "PLUS" on the left side of each translatable object ;)
