any plans to update gcc to 12.3 ?

Folks,

Any plans to release gcc-12.3? I tried to apply a patch to src, but I think it has a collision with other patches ?

Which Ubuntu release are you talking about?

You can try requesting a SRU or backport, see the links in the FAQ.

Maybe there are also PPAs.

Hi Folks,

Lunar, The motivation gcc folks added zen4 optimization ( AVX instruction from AMD) in the patch to GCC 12.3 and 13.
13 is still very early. Many other Math libs prefer something other than GCC 13. That way, I asked. If you do spare cycles to upgrade 12.2 to 12.3, that would be amazing.
