How do I use the calculator for square root?

I want to be able to use the calculator to calculate square root. Please assist. Thank you.

If you are using the calculator with Ubuntu and under the accessory menu, click on the view menu and change to scientific. You will get square root and several other buttons. Check out the other options too. It's a cool tool.

Oh, the advanced and financial view options also have square root and not so many other buttons.
