I can't to copy a result

I go to Edit -> Copy, but I can't to select this option. The only way for to copy is when I shadow the result. I am using Ubuntu 7.10

I think the way gcalctool is designed, you have to select the text and then copy using Edit ->Copy. I checked the help and it confirms this.

I know it is little different than windows calculator (where you don't have to select), but that's the design. But, it is consistent with other copy operations because "we almost always select what we want to copy".
