Where can I find and d/l gcalctool 5.26.0

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with calculator 5.32.0 but I prefer the calculator that was in Ubuntu 9.4
The new calc version does not have 'store and recall'
Please tell me where to find and download calc 5.26.0

has 5.91 which may have brought back the functionality you like. I suggest you just add the ppa, install the app, then remove or it will install a whole tonne of other stuff too

I carefully read the ppa instructions then re-read and unfortunately I don't think I have the knowledge or experience necessary to successfully complete the mission.

try:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-desktop/gnome3-builds; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get --reinstall install gcalctool; sudo ppa-purge ppa:ubuntu-desktop/gnome3-builds; sudo apt-get update
